  • Romania v PV The District Judge discharged the Requested Person at Westminster Magistrates Court, finding that the Arrest Warrant, issued for the return of the Requested Person to Romania to serve a sentence of 2 years and 7 months imprisonment for driving a vehicle on public roads under the influence of alcohol offence, was not a valid warrant according to Section 2 of the Extradition Act 2003.
  • Romania v CC Mr Justice Swift allowed an appeal on section 20 of the Extradition Act 2003. The Appellant was sought by Romania to serve a sentence of 4 years for an offence of fraud.
  • Romania v AV The District Judge discharged the Requested Person at Westminster Magistrates Court, finding that the Arrest Warrant, issued for the return of the Requested Person to Romania to serve an aggregate sentence of 3 years and 7 months imprisonment for theft and burglary offences, was not a valid warrant according to Section 2 of the Extradition Act 2003.
  • Romania v AP High Court of Justice – Mr Justice Kerr allowed an appeal on section 21 of the Extradition Act 2003, art. 8 family life. The Appellant was sought by Romania to serve a sentence of 5 years 2 month for an offences of cigarette smuggling and causing serious injury in a road traffic accident.
  • R v AACriminal Appeal Court –appeal allowed against sentence for offence of attempting to knowingly arrive in the UK without valid entry clearance contrary to s.24(D1) of the Immigration Act 1971 as manifestly excessive, sentence reduced from 24 months to 16 months on appeal
