Yasmeen is a Consultant Solicitor specialising in serious criminal defence and complex family and children law, including international child abduction matters. Qualified since 2006, she advises and represents clients in high-stakes cases where strategic judgement, meticulous preparation and experienced advocacy are essential.

Criminal Defence

Yasmeen represents clients facing some of the most serious criminal allegations, from the police station through to the Crown Court. Her practice includes murder, serious violence, organised drug offences, fraud and complex financial crime, as well as other high-profile and sensitive cases.

She has particular experience representing young and vulnerable clients, combining meticulous case preparation with carefully considered defence strategies tailored to the individual circumstances of each case.

Family & Children Law

Yasmeen also has an established family and children law practice, advising clients in complex and often emotionally demanding proceedings. She regularly acts in care proceedings, child arrangements, parental responsibility disputes, relocation applications and protective injunctions, including Prohibited Steps, Specific Issue and Occupation Orders.
